We are proud to introduce our chef team of Daniel and Sherri Leiphart. This husband-and-wife team pools together a combined 25 years of culinary experience. Daniel’s experience includes working under the famous Lidia Bastianich at Lidia’s Pittsburgh. He has been at Isabela on Grandview for the last 4 years. Sherri spent the last 6 ½ years as Sous Chef for the renowned Le Pommier in the Southside. Together they are combining their creativity, mastery, and passion to lead Isabela into the next 10 years of operation.
The seven-course menu is a marriage of international vision of culinary influence with fresh and local ingredients. Whenever possible our chefs use locally farmed ingredients. As members of the Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance, our chefs work with local farmers to get the best ingredients. On many occasions they can be found around farmer’s markets buying the necessary items for the menu. Each and every menu item combines distinctive tastes, flavors, and methods to present a dish that is truly unique.
